This fun, educational course will help participants: develop leadership skills, learn how to keep themselves and others safe, learn about basic child care, how to evaluate emergency situations, first aid, and CPR and AED (non-certificate programs). The recommended age for this course is 11 to 15 years old to care for infants and children safely and with confidence. Class follows the American Academy of Pediatrics Babysitter Lessons and Safety Training curriculum.
Students receive a handbook and class completion card. Please make sure to bring your own sack lunch. Registration is required one week in advance. All sessions are held at Papillion Landing. Limited to 20 students per session.
